Good thoughts, but you're forgetting: it's a cheap mini tour event the week before Christmas. Course is in tough shape. Preferred lies saves the day.

Now no Soto, no Mike King, no ring, no lineup, nobody big enough on FA/trade markets to save us, no word from clubhouse anything will change. Yankees of old died a death by a thousand errors/blunders/excuses. Will be sad to see Judge and Cole retire without rings.

There's an alternate universe where the Yankees value fundamentals/accountability, beat the Dodgers in 7, and Soto signs for 16/750m. But this is the team that refused to help IKFs defense when HE ASKED for coaching. Why would a young HoFer want to tether himself to this franchise as it stands now?

My secret opinion: massive rivalry games ending with some chippiness and pushing and shoving where nobody gets hurt... shows it's a great rivalry and really isn't that tragic? (We can definitely nix the pepper spray though)

Revealing shitty behavior (metoo) is unambiguous positive of the internet. Next step is to make internet (and the world around/commented-on-by the internet) tolerant of harmless "cringe" growing-up embarrassmemts while continuing to hold people accountable for harmful behavior.

Daily pedestrian embarrassments/gossip travel fast enough online and in group chats to require asking "am I ok with everyone knowing about this?" Much more at stake and courage required to ask someone out in school cafeteria — or say yes.

Think lede buried here — pandemic revealed, but root is internet/socials. Coming of age now includes personal branding, selling that we're not actually developing & have been cool the whole time. Easier to lay low until we're a version we're confident in — process that's stunted without exploration.

Further following up here:
Range session this evening, you can see my sequence here coming inside and then over the top. Working on getting that yellow backswing line higher and flatter, closer to the green. Especially important on shorter swings (partial wedges) with less time to reroute it.

Red line outside the others makes me think he's holding a draw into R-L wind. Normal conditions, those three lines probably on top of each other. Massive for consistency.
