Probably never, in that case. Enjoy.

Either we both are from different planet to decipher the text or one is unable to comprehend. Thank you for engaging. May be if we meet in person we can discuss it. For now, let us put this topic to rest. Good night.

Who cares when one thief tanks another one? In my view, no sane person can and should trust any of these media, especially npr. I just proved to you how much of a disgraceful liar they are. You still want to run with them. Your choice. I do my own research as i just shared with you about tariff.

You are factually wrong. That's all i can say. You do research and you will find it. If you again check on NPR, it is like asking thief to investigate the theft. I am sorry but i will not discuss this any further. May be some other time. 🙏

The real news here would be that the month of higher tariff affected the shipping business because movement was reduced as many importers waited before picking up their stuff from the warehouse. That impacts everyone because many times importers have to pay extra storage fee too.
comment in response to post
... is disingenuous. NPR routinely uses a bit of truth (it is possible that some importers did pay higher tariff as i wrote before) and then spins it to spread itsown biased political narrative. There was a time when NPR was really good but the train has left that station long time ago. Sad!
comment in response to post
.. because they had expected it to cool down anyway. Now, it is entirely possible that there was one importer who didn't want to wait fit any reason and instead chose to pay higher tariff (for their own specific reason). But to frame it in such a way as if it was not possible to avoid it...

I wouldn't go into the duals of how but it is ac fact and you can check it out yourself. Chinese exporters knew that and that's why they had stopped shipments (if possible) as they knew that the importers may choose to delay the pick up at the port to avoid high tariff. They all waited it out...

NPR spread misinformation and disinformation. It is so twisted that i stopped reading it for more than a decades now. This is not how businesses operate. Tariffs are not applied when goods arrive at our port. The importer can strategically choose the date using various mechanisms.

I am not arguing anything about Tim Pool. You might as well call him an MS-13. None of my concern, in this thread.

Read my post again. You are sounding like you are used to "processed food", like info processed by others. Start doing it yourself and don't rely on what somebody says about somebody. Listen to them yourself and process it. You may be surprised.
comment in response to post
None for you. Those who seek knowledge, they don't shut their doors. Listen to it yourself, if you are curious. Don't ask me what it says.

Closed minds prefer echo chambers.

True. That's why i supported DOGE, which is at least an effort to reduce and debt.

None. The exact numbers for the year will be available next year.

Are you seriously saying that "up to" means something bad here? You are in exim business. You must know that "up to" means upper limit. You were joking. Right? 😅

I have worked with S&P in developing rating models. We downgrade US ratings only as the last step because for most of the calculation we take this as the reference point.
comment in response to post
Rising government debt is horrific but not a new factor. It has become unmanageable now. Last year we paid almost a trillion dollars in interest, which was almost 40% of total federal income tax receipts. Rating downgrade was only a matter of time.

13000 tonnes Compare it with 300 tonnes we exported last year.

Did you listen to it?
comment in response to post
None. I couldn't care less about Tim Pool. You are free to call him what you like. No objections.

...That means long term look. Those who take the risk will reap the benefits in future. Do you disagree?

...will be cheaper this year due to overall cost going down. I am surprised too but data is data. You may like to check again with your sister on this. Basically, the main challenge will be for our farmers to be able to produce so much more for UK and it will require investment...

I Just ran an analysis on it using AI that uses published data on feed rates and other stuff related to this business. Fred cost has gone down mainly because most of the feed is grown locally and there is bumper crop. It says that to grow 300 tons of harmone free beef (total we exported to UK)...

Shoot the messenger, When it becomes impossible to argue against the fact. 😅
comment in response to post
Adam is a hypocrite about free speech. The above clip exposes him. Tim Pool is irrelevant in this dialog because it is not about him. It is about the content being spoken. Why are you trying to shoot the messenger, instead of focusing on the content? I do not think you are confused.😀

Shoot the messenger. A textbook example. Thanks.

"Inflation would've been that high under Trump as well." - "woulda". You call it your expertise that you could have predicted it. - "coulda" Everybody on social media can play this game. Facts: 1. We had highest inflation under Biden. 2. Prices are lowest in last 4 years for basic grocery, now.
comment in response to post
coulda-woulda is not an argument.
comment in response to post
No tariff 13000 tonnes additional market - positive There is no argument against it. Everything else (like cost) changes all the time and gets balanced in the open market. There is ZERO argument that can color additional market as negative.
comment in response to post
Yes. And we paid much more taxes during the last four years with the highest inflation. Both are silly arguments, if we call it tax on Americans. In reality, most of the prices are down and as a consumer i feel better than it was during the last four years, for basic grocery needs.
comment in response to post
Are you seriously saying additional market that UK had provided is a bad thing? That is one mumbo jumbo way of looking at the things. With this approach, anything and everything any administration does can be marked as bad. Sorry, my approach is to give credit where due.
comment in response to post
Those 20% will have additional market for export at no tariff. Is that a bad thing?

In that article, farmers say they are happy. Let the truth come out as it will within a short time.

Africa had been ignored for a, very long time to help out Fendi like a partner. Most of the times, the west has only gone there to steal its resources. I am glad of we are focusing now to do better with it. It deserves our partnership, not exploitation.
