Amanda, as I'm sure you know the vast majority of natural ignitions in US wilderness areas are suppressed, directly conflicting with both the "untrammeled" and "natural" characteristics required by the Wilderness Act.

really great diagnosis, any thoughts on a cure? The way things were done in the "old days" had its share of flaws.
