I can't stand the double-checkmark feature in any messaging service and always turn it off whenever I can. It's been a big contributor to the modern-day unhealthy expectation that anyone and everyone is available at all times or is otherwise ignoring you on purpose.

One thing about this that I think about a lot is how I view "music that is enjoyable to listen to" and "music that is fun to dance to" as two distinct, not-entirely-overlapping categories, and people will often spin what comes from the former without always thinking as much about the latter.

I found out just the other day with my own video that bsky seems to normalize audio throughout the track so that whatever you're currently hearing always adds up to max volume! 🫠

I think, after giving it a solid 3 tries in a row, it's not particularly my favorite con, although I think the more significant factors in that are the weather and my distaste for the Marriott Marquis as a venue. But it's also nice to be able to avoid the general travel anxiety I often get, too!
