I don’t see why. It makes perfect sense to me.

Impossible really. Rights issues.

We’ve never met, and I only know you through this place and your book, which I am currently reading. But Agnes sounds lovely, and it seems to me while nobody deserves this, you and her deserved it less than most people.

Well that is a bit of an issue even for native French speakers, and honestly I think it's not that big of a deal for people who want conversational French. People generally know what you mean.
comment in response to post
Yes I understand that. But that wasn't really the point I was making

Badenoch really is completely unsuited to the job she has. If that's true, why not explain how she would achieve this?

Are you new to politics?

The question I never see asked enough about Duolingo is whether it actually works in terms of getting you fluent in another language.

So people who are not white are ‘foreigners’? I see. Crime is not up ‘across the board’, no. And your final point sounds like something you just made up. Also it seems you live in Newmarket, so I’m not sure how accurate your assessment can be.
comment in response to post
Well not really. There’s a reason salaries are called compensation.

I love the defence: "it would be inconvenient and also kinda hard, so we didn't bother. That's OK, right?"

Manchester is certainly nothing like 50% "non-white". But I'm interested in the idea that a city that is non-white is "destroyed". Can you explain what is "destroyed" about it, and how Sadiq Khan is responsible for the "destruction" of London, if you define "destruction" this way?
comment in response to post
London: still there. Not destroyed.
comment in response to post
I've checked, and it's still there.

I think we can say Corey here is a nationalised industry, as he just got publicly owned.
comment in response to post
Why are you saying this to me?
comment in response to post
They also get to define emergencies, of course.

Do you remember there was a pandemic a few years ago?

I mean “King of Great Britain” is a bit suspect…
comment in response to post
Yes I know. I wasn’t being entirely serious.
comment in response to post
The world was a kinder, happier place back then.

Dude Britain doesn’t have a consititution. But thanks again for trying to patronise me.
comment in response to post
Yes. Bluesky really is the place where humour goes to die, isn’t it?
comment in response to post
Also if you think the UK monarch is simply ceremonial you’re quite wrong. They have a surprising amount of power which they choose not to use, and quite a lot of influence which they absolutely do use.
comment in response to post
Oh I’m sorry: I missed the bit where they said Spain was saying “no kings (except constitutional monarchs)”. But thanks for trying to patronise me.
comment in response to post
I believe the correct response to this is to say “duck duck go”. Despite the fact duck duck go is fucking terrible.
comment in response to post
Single, eh?

Your nails grow about 3.5mm a month.
comment in response to post
Dude Spain literally has a king
comment in response to post
Nothing-and I mean nothing-looks worse than gel nails with like 4mm of real nail grown out. Have some pride ffs.

Glad about the the disability representation obvs. But it really is the most appalling load of old pony.

Sooner or later people are going to catch up with the fact that LLMs don’t actually work and aren’t actually getting much better
comment in response to post
That is not a world that is likely to exist any time soon. There’s a lot of nonsense being talked about LLMs in particular, and the bubble will burst as soon as people realise they’re not going to get their money back.

You’re unhinged.

It’s amazing Corbyn lost twice really: you’re all so nice, welcoming and persuasive.

Keep on keeping on, champ.

I can’t find any evidence that his interest in public transport was criticised per se by Labour colleagues, still less that he was “lambasted” for it. The criticism seems to be for being a bit shit, which was fair comment.
comment in response to post
I’ve looked it up: it was in July 2018, and the criticism from Labour MPs was about talking about buses at PMQs instead of focusing on Theresa May and her inability to control her party. Which seems to me to be a criticism of tactics rather than strategy.
comment in response to post
Finally, an answer. When did this happen? I’d like to look it up.
comment in response to post
A bit? He’s a fucking liability. Happily the electorate agrees.
comment in response to post
Ok, that was weird.
comment in response to post
And yet look who understands that it’s seats that count, not numbers of votes.
comment in response to post
So to be clear the ‘Reeves mob’ in the original post is everyone who isn’t a Corbyn fan? You do know that’s nuts, right?
comment in response to post
Yes, yes. They’re all the same except the sainted Jeremy. Who is a narcissistic has-been. Let him go.
comment in response to post
A bit? He’s a fucking liability. Happily the electorate agrees.
comment in response to post
Yes well she did the country a service. But I was specifically asking about public transport.
