I think some people get over triggered by "expensive", which honestly is a relative term for every buyer. You could be expensive to one person, and cheap to the next.. As long as people don't say your expensive, and then ask for a discount!. Don't haggle with artists, they charge what they need.

Con's are going to work even harder with security, especially around the fursuit lounges. There can easily be a million dollars (or more) of fursuits drying out in some of the bigger lounges. A tempting target for fur haters.

I wouldn't hold much weight in that article. It's lead source may have a personal grudge against furrys and the convention in particular, due to a counter protest a few years ago.
