Every time I write about scam calls it reminds me that one of my last conversations with my dementia-ridden grandfather, whom I loved dearly, was explaining "no, I didn't kill someone in a car crash and I don't need money, that's a scam call." I can feel my blood boil every time I think about that.

The energy sword is so peak. There's a moment in one of the campaigns (I think it's 3) where if you bring an energy sword into a fight with an Elite commander, the others stand back and let the 1v1 duel happen without interference. Just awesome.

Not to sound full doomer but AI is coming for journalist jobs, replacing it with shit like this, and we're all going to be worse for it. Myself and all the editors at the site throw a fit anytime more AI stuff gets slipped into the newsroom, but it's a losing battle.

It's so funny that these posts always use stills from Kingdom of Heaven, a movie that explicitly shows guys with crusading "zeal" as the villains. In this exact scene, Baldwin shows up to PREVENT a battle and it's followed by him scolding and imprisoning a crusader trying to incite a war
