By the way, a very strong rotation (with a possible funnel cloud) was intercepted by a stormchaser in Noailles, approximately 18 km from Rignac, apparently around the same time : x.com/tom_geoffre/...

I have new informations about this. The witness was located exactly there : 43°10'32.3"N 2°21'14.3"E. He says it was between 16h07'45sec and 16h08'05sec. He will search today for potential traces of this phenomenon.

Damages have been reported in Rignac, between Souillac and Cuzance (not to be confused with the nearby commune of Rignac). It seems quite suspicious at first glance : www.facebook.com/permalink.ph...

I would say that it might be a gustnado rather than an actual tornado

Thanks ! I will search for information about this. We also have a witness who thinks he was inside a tornado south of Carcassonne, near Cavanac. Apparently, he has a video, so I'm waiting for it.
