I guess the main hangup is that most fantasy stories have creatures with magical abilities. maybe some of them resemble superpowers, but superpowers in superhero stories are notable because they often don't come from magic, magic doesn't really exist in those worlds

Sorry but there’s no reason not to use mouse5. It makes crouching completely effortless. Every other control remains entirely accessible with it.
