Just love that that two polling stations in the riding have no parking during the day. One place is telling people to park 20min walk away. Another way snap elections cause voter suppression. (Add to the returning office is not in the riding)

Pass it on!

#Ontario - vote like someone's life depends on it. #CTS #drugsky

"According to an internal provincial report obtained by the Star, Ontario patients visiting emergency departments in the past three years waited longer than they did in the previous 13 years." Please vote on Feb. 27th!

Head to the farmer’s market this Saturday in Kitchener to buy some good local produce. Two weeks ago I got a decent sized bunch of fresh spinach for just 5 bucks, and the usual carrots and kale and other hardy vegetables.

DEAR MEDIA: STOP FRAMING THE UNIVERSITY BUDGET CRISIS AS PRIMARILY ABOUT INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS. THIS IS A CRISIS CAUSED BY PROVINCIAL FUNDING CUTS AND TUITION CAPS. calgary.citynews.ca/2025/02/18/p...

I really think Kitchener elected officials should go and walk around their wards and talk to people this week. The key is to walk on sidewalks, in many places. The sidewalks are impassable, but roads and parking lots are cleared. I am able bodied, and i had difficulty

Doug ford is counting on you to stay home. Make a plan to vote in an advance poll in your riding! ADVANCE VOTING Thursday, Feb. 20, Friday, Feb. 21 and Saturday, Feb. 22 10am- 8 p.m. Find your voting location at www.elections.on.ca/en.html

If they can put weekend go trains on now, they can do it every weekend. We need all day 2 way Go everyday!

Rural Ontario, do you want a party supports you? A party that understands farmers' valuable role in Ontario's economy & envt? A party committed to bringing you #healthcare & reliable internet connection? Vote for @ontariogreens.bsky.social, whose leader grew up on a farm. We get it. #onpoli

We absolutely need folks voting in this provincial election. Additionally, if you're in a place where you can donate (time or $$), please do so (the sooner, the better). I happily donated to @aislinnclancy.bsky.social today. And, remember, there are significant tax breaks for political donations.

We'll await @mikepmoffatt.bsky.social's report but it's a safe bet that Ontario has the biggest loss of affordable housing markets over the last 20 years. The Ford PC government has totally failed Ontarians on the housing issue. Prior to 2018, the Liberal governments of Wynne & McGuinty also failed.

This Super Bowl Sunday, here's a reminder of what real courage looks like.

If you or your business are located in Kitchener Centre and you would like to share more about the impact these tariffs will have on you to help inform my advocacy, I am here to chat. Feel free to be in touch by email at [email protected].

In the face of these tariffs, we need a team Ontario approach, not a power-grabbing snap election. As we work to protect the businesses and jobs most at-risk from tariffs, we need to respond forcefully to defend Ontario, invest in local supply chains, and aggressively diversify trade partners.

One of the best ways to shop Canadian is to shop local. Support local markets and merchants when possible. Also keep in mind that people need to shop where they can afford goods, so choose kindness as a part of your mantra while we collectively move through this together.

With American deregulation, you’d be nuts to buy American now. Don’t get sick, buy Canadian. 🇨🇦🍁

I’m proud to support @aislinnclancy.bsky.social in this provincial election. From cracking down on renovictions and bringing back rent control to pushing for two-way all-day GO - she's focused on putting our community first. I hope you’ll join me in supporting her. Get involved at voteclancy.ca!

THE riding to watch this #onelxn. If you’re not happy w/ the Ford govt & this pointless & expensive election, here’s a real chance to have 1 less PC seat. @mattrichtergpo.bsky.social is a fantastic candidate who will put Ontarians 1st. Considering volunteering w/ his [email protected]

Doug Ford is counting on cold weather keeping us at home instead of at the polls. Let’s stay cozy and vote by mail! Applications to vote by mail close on Feb. 21. Start the application now and you’ll have plenty of time to make sure your vote counts on Feb. 27. votebymail.elections.on.ca #OnPoli

We handed out law signs for the green party today! Civic duty done! @corntea-kw.bsky.social

Elizabeth May isn’t holding back about Elon Musk. She said he’s been doing a “parade around the world” as “emperor of all” with his buddy Trump. I asked her about the emphasis on the threat of disinformation in the foreign interference report:

The following things are not unconstitutional, however questionable they may be: 1) Calling an election on a flimsy pretext. 2) Travel to the US and promoting provincial interests during the writ. 3) Appointing Senators when you’ve already announced your resignation as PM.

Big things can come from small beginnings. Lakeside ice forming around a few blades of grass or sedge. Northwest Territories, Canada. #plants #botany #ice

As expected, the Trump team is already deleting climate info from government websites. In anticipation, our team at Urban Ocean Lab created a permanent archive of 100+ key resources and published a permanent archive: www.urbanoceanlab.org/resource-hub 👩🏽‍💻

When federal funding to address homelessness was announced last year, I raised the alarm that our community needed to be included. While I continue to push for long-term solutions, I’m glad our calls for interim support have been successful: our community will be receiving funds in the second round
