Don't get me wrong, I think some of this has neat applications, like translation or abstraction/summarization. But the big problem aside from hallucinations and continuous data poisoning is summed up in a quote I saw on reddit:

Also that in practice, LLMs cause more problems than they fix.
I know I'm preaching to the choir at this point, but the number of people I've seen saying that their only real use is typing up small things quickly, small things that you could've Googled without atrophying your brain. I hate this.
