I know that money is a lingering issue for a lot of good developers right now, but creatively I don't think the industry has been better than the last few years. I haven't wanted for a good game in awhile. Even if it's a fun little $20 game like Schedule I, there's always something good coming out.

And that's not me doing some Internet weirdo flex or critique on non-violence. I don't actually think I could take on a gang of violent thugs by myself and I would probably just end up injured and arrested. I just don't know how people can keep their composure in some of these situations.

I had been considering blocking the Washington Post for awhile because of their clear distribution of propaganda and lies, and this was the one where I finally pushed the button. They have chosen their side and I don't trust anything that comes from them going forward.

I don't think people understand how loud and awful a patrolling helicopter is. It's one of the reason I had to move out of Columbus. I lived under a common flight path for their helicopters, it would rattle my windows and trigger my panic attacks. It's legit psychological warfare.

There used to be a time when you would sit down at the computer and search for shit on the internet. Now you can't escape shit from the internet. The internet is aggressively courting us every minute of the day now. It's exhausting to raw dog it. You need to curate that shit.

Nice. I got a couple hours in and it's very clear I've only scratched the surface. The free roam maps are huge and there's so much stuff to unlock. The knockout races are pretty fun and even got me playing some online multiplayer with randos.

I think the funniest thing to come out of this "no CGI" marketing is the studios using cgi to remove green screens and other chroma key place holders out of behind the scenes content to hide that movies are still using cgi 😂
