I’m still bitter about logitech murdering the loupedeck and replacing it with their shitty streamdeck clone.

I’m not nearly going to say Fates would be *nice* but it would probably be at least reasonable, given that iirc there no longer exists a path to play the third story legitimately

possibly one of the only companies I can think of that regularly lose money on gacha games

There’s a different video where the faceless wifemaid prepares a bowl of chopped fruit in ice water and there’s a shot where he carefully samples like a chunk of melon before a hard cut of him with his face dunked in it. Absolutely psychotic.

this movie is basically a live action Lupin III film and for that reason I can't bring myself to truly hate it

Reminded of how around like 2015 influencers in I think hong kong were buying leicas and literally just carrying them around without a lens as a status symbol thing

I could lie and say I only still post there because of the artists I follow but honestly it kinda feels like the posting version of touching a stove on purpose now

Christine is an extremely interesting person and her story is incredible, her descriptions and discussions about her experience as Americas most famous transwoman of her day are extremely eloquent and moving.

Heinlein: laughs way too loud after each hit and, depending on what era of heinlein, calls the cops on you afterwards

I’m betting his dick is fucked up but it’s not an implant thing, he’s just fucked around with too many drugs and it just doesn’t work anymore

I mean I do think the only reason Gascón is getting burned so bad is because she’s a transwoman, people like Gibson have said and done significantly worse and every few years we gotta deal with people going “c’moooon, he only *said* obscenely racist things, let him back in”

The park still fails and kills a shitload of people but it happens entirely offscreen after the climax as part of a section of narration that underscores the futility of the main character's attempts to sidestep grief through genetic science

You spent the entire campaign loudly gloating that you didn’t need progressive voters to win, mockingly spat on every concern and criticism, because you had the support of the cheneys and could peel support off of trumps base. How’d that work out for you?

As one should in these cases

trump and elon are actively obliterating the soft power hegemony that the CIA has spent its entire existence building.

Legit though, I watched the jesse gender video on the movie and bery few things have made me as furious about fiction as the clip of the writer talking about how something like section 31 is Obviously Necessary for a functioning society. Just fundamentally not getting it
comment in response to post
Its a streaming movie about how section 31 (the amoral CIA analogue) is good and cool actually

I think part of it, with at least some of them, is that they have just enough foresight to realize that with climate change coming down the pipe the gravy train is going to end, but not enough to realize what everyone is going to do to them for ripping the copper out of the walls so openly

It’s a great con, one of my favorites. Didn’t go this year b/c of personal stuff but I can’t wait to go back next year, maybe bring my keyboard.

Like it seems neat at the top line but then you realize you gotta bring your own monitor, your own mouse, your own power, and the storage is handicapped because there’s no way afaik to add storage beyond a micro-SD.

Gordon Cole was Lynch's character in Twin Peaks who was the regional bureau chief of the FBI in the original series, and became deputy director in The Return. David Duchovny here is playing Denise Bryant, a transwoman and former DEA agent turned FBI agent.

This is a corollary to my theory that if you took all of elon’s money away but put him on a construction crew primed to treat him as the Donny Kerabatsos of the group he’d be happier after a week then he’s been in his entire life
