If you know any military leaders — from junior NCOs to 4-star generals — probably a good time to reinforce the idea with them that their oath is to the Constitution, not the President, and certainly not the Secretary of Defense.

I first saw this video about the #UkrainianArmy several years ago. Every #Soldier of #Ukraine is fighting for us against tyranny. youtu.be/fzs_dYE6MjA?... #sicsempertyrannis #holodomor #neverforget

We DID NOT take an oath to a king or wannabe dictator, we swore to defend the United States Constitution. We served our nation, not one man!

“The Tanks of Seicheprey” by Harvery Dunn, 1918, #USArmy Art Collection. In the gray dawn of 9/26/1918, #doughboys of the #AEF go over the top with their own #tanks in the start of the Meuse-Argonne campaign. I hope this drawing is as powerful for you as for me. #FWW #WW1 #westernfront #overthetop

Gunner, Battlesight, Tank! Best job I ever had. reader.militarytimes.com/2025/02/19/u...

Incredibly, songs about #WorldWarI continue to be recorded. #GreatBigSea ranks among my favorite bands. #TheRecruitingSergeant is a very old tune that #GBS reworked to honor the Royal Newfoundland Regiment in the #GreatWar. #WWI #WW1 #BluePuttees #CanadianArmy #FWWHIST youtu.be/x8wer_TVz5A?...

“A Mark V Tank Going Into Action” by W. Bernard Adeney, 1918, Imperial War Museum. As a former armor guy/treadhead, World War I tanks interest me to no end. Artwork like this shows us unique perspectives of those long-ago war machines & their crews. #fwwhist #IWM #fww #tanks #MkVTank #WWI #WW1

I’m about halfway through an outstanding #book called “Dying to Learn” by historian Michael #Hunzeker. The author uses a contextual framework of assessment, command, and training to analyze tactical development on the #WesternFront in #WW1. It’s a scholarly, deeply researched work. #FWWHist #milsky

“The Front Line – At Night” by J. A. Churchman, Canadian War Museum. A small patrol is bathed in the harsh light of a shellburst on the #WesternFront in #WorldWarI. To me, images luke this one are so powerful and evocative. #fwwhist #milhist #milsky #fww #ww1
