Thanks @parlogram.bsky.social for an excellent deep dive into the brilliance of Scott 4 #ScottWalker youtu.be/-RR3GVNK0cs?...

@bostock.bsky.social FYI 😃 youtu.be/-RR3GVNK0cs?...

What an amazing 4-album run (1973-77). Any other John Martyn fans out there?

The sad passing of Joey Molland means Badfinger join that ever expanding club of bands whose original line-up are all now gone #RIP

Post a picture of you that’s not actually a picture of you

RIP David Johansen - such sad news and the real end of an era. All of the New York Dolls have now left us youtu.be/nrdqX_auyPc

An early review of Van Morrison’s Astral Weeks. “Lacking originality”, reckoned Beat Instrumental, October 1969.

If Status Quo can still call themselves that, with only one original member, then basically I saw the Beatles last year. 😄🥴

Very sad to learn of Bill Fay’s passing. His voice and songs have haunted me for a couple of decades now. #RIP

Thank you Bill Fay for writing this anthem for the anxious #rip open.spotify.com/track/4o09sS...

Four Flies and four Warner Bros. for #weekendsingles

The deaths of two percussionists were announced today - Jamie Muir and Rick Buckler. There’s a happy place in my record collection for both King Crimson and the Jam, despite their polar differences. Very sad losses, both.

A few lesser-seen Scott Walker 45s. Nice to have the promo, picked up recently for the price of a couple of pints #weekendsingles

One artist, two classic albums, same year… Bowie: Low/Heroes (1977) John Martyn: Inside Out/Solid Air (1973) Elvis Costello: King of America/Blood & Chocolate (1986) Anymore for anymore?

Happy 80th birthday to Robert Wyatt - a true hero. Here's his superb version of I'm a Believer from #TOTP in 1974. The producer asked him to sit in a wicker chair as his wheelchair "was not suitable for family viewing". Robert told him where to go! youtu.be/Y7PBPd3UA7Q

Excellent song selection from Mr Cave. www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/...

I’d say Dylan hasn’t made a bad studio album of new material this century. If his output since 1997’s Time Out of Mind was all he’d ever done, he’d still be hailed as a major artist. This one’s a cracker. #bobdylan
