TODAY WE MOBILIZED OVER 3 MILLION PEOPLE ACROSS THE NATION!!! This movement has entered the next chapter: the people will mobilize again, and again, until we make a difference. It only takes 3.5% of the population in a sustained resistance in order to make a difference. #50501movement

This. ⬇️

The message is: crowd large. Many politicians, administrators, and business leaders, in bowing to Trump, have drawn confidence and comfort from the perceived vibe shift. Events like this puncture that delusion.

Kudos to the law firm Arnold & Porter. It is the largest law firm that is not either itself target by Trump or representing a firm targeted by Trump to sign the amicus brief in support of Perkins Coie. Put another way, A&P has no direct financial interest in the outcome of the case and yet signed.

NEW: Sen. Cory Booker took a stand against the Trump administration this week. So can everyone else, starting with the nationwide Hands Off rallies this weekend, @laurengw.bsky.social and @@maxflugrath.bsky.social of @fairfightaction.bsky.social write. Learn more here.

Trump Assures Wall Street He’ll Go Back To Just Fucking Over Poor People Soon http://theonion.com/...

Curtis Yarvin is the ideologue whose ideas are why this is all happening www.politico.com/news/magazin...

Not sure what's worse, the reporter asking a softball "do you want to weigh in on that" [Signalgate] or the reporter immediately moving onto another topic when Trump demands, like a little baby, that she doesn't "bring that up again". Our media is failing us. Again. zeteo.com/subscribe

We are not invisible. This kind person from the UK sees us and is proud of us. You might need a tissue when you watch this 👇👇👇👇👇

Harris Faulkner's Fox News show has been on for 20 minutes now. She has not mentioned tariffs or stocks once and a stock ticker isn't being displayed. Strong state media vibes.

Saturday will be the largest single day of action since the Trump administration took office. Will you join us!

firsttheycamefor.com is being updated to list all of the people being illegally detained or deported by the Trump administration in one place #signalboost #resist #freeRumeysa #freeMahmoud #freepalestine #abolishICE

And then they came for Brown. www.nytimes.com/2025/04/03/u...

The purpose of these tariffs is to be able to lift them to those who bow down to him and sacrifice their dignity. That is what he did to the GOP, the billionaires, and is doing now to Big Law. Those who stand up will be punished, those who bend a knee and humiliate themselves will be rewarded.

I’m no economist, but…

😂😂😂😂

🚨Georgetown University Law Center students are detailing which law firms have caved and which have stood up to the Trump regime. They have created this spreadsheet: docs.google.com/spreadsheets... Please share widely.

If you’re upset about the chaos and corruption Trump is inflicting on your country—whether your focus is the nihilistic dismantling of government, the economy, our foreign relations, or his threats to the rule of law—please join the nationwide marches on April 5. Learn more here 👉 handsoff2025.com

There is also no invasion or war that would justify invoking the Alien Enemies Act. It’s a big problem that these things don’t seem to matter.

Those trying to understand the tariffs as economic policy are dangerously naive. No, the tariffs are a tool to collapse our democracy. A means to compel loyalty from every business that will need to petition Trump for relief. 1/ A 🧵 to explain his plan and how we fight back.

NYT Opinion piece penned by John Keker, Bob Van Nest, & Elliot Peters: “If lawyers and law firms won’t stand up for the rule of law, who will?” Read: www.nytimes.com/2025/03/30/o...

We simply had to intentionally destroy the world’s strongest economy while dismantling our scientific and educational infrastructure to ensure that a team with a trans girl would never finish second place in the Mountain West volleyball standings again

no tariffs on the invading foreign government, tren de aragua?? really makes u think!!

Sen. Booker just broke the record for the longest floor speech in Senate history—a record set by Strom Thurmond trying to block the Civil Rights Act. The irony ain’t lost on us. From fighting against justice to fighting for it. This is what courage & being on the right side of history looks like!

I like dystopian fiction I dislike dystopian reality. Make Dystopia Fiction Again.

Another large law firm capitulates. Absolutely shameful. These firms are helping Trump destroy the rule of law and democracy. If Willkie Farr & Gallagher won't defend itself, why on earth would any client trust it to defend the client?

I’m not saying everyone needs to do *this*. But @booker.senate.gov figured out the biggest best thing HE could do right now. And then he did it. Everyone needs to do *that*.

Sen. Cory Booker breaks the record for the longest Senate floor speech, passing former Sen. Strom Thurmond's 24 hr, 18 min filibuster of the Civil Rights Act of 1957. As Sen. Booker neared the record, he invoked the late Rep. John Lewis and called on the Senate to get into "good trouble."

Booker: "I confess that I have been imperfect. I confess that I've been inadequate to the moment. I've confess that the Democratic Party has made terrible mistakes that gave a lane to this demagogue. I confess we all must look in the mirror and say 'we will do better.'"

To improve efficiency we are replacing due process with "Just trust me bro"

"Every American should be asking: What happens when we normalize sending people — without hearings or trials — to cages in foreign countries known for torture? What happens when we rely on authoritarian regimes to do the dirty work we can’t legally carry out on U.S. soil?"

Here are my Top 10 WORST Dogs!

GO CORY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The government admits the thing I’ve been banging on about, which is that there is no habeas for these people, despite what they told CADC.

When "due process" doesn't exist, and in its place there's just a half-assed, lazy, racist hunt for bodies: www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc...

Trans rights are human rights because trans people are human beings.

TODAY: The House Rules Committee is meeting at 4 pm ET on two bills: 1. SAVE Act: The GOP's restrictive nationwide proof of citizenship for voting bill 2. A bill to limit district judges from issuing nationwide injunctions: This bill is in response to judges blocking many of Trump's recent actions

"This executive order is bad — cartoonishly so. But it is also a wake-up call for those who believe the danger of election subversion has passed."

The SAVE Act would require Americans to provide documents like a passport or birth certificate to register to vote. 21 million American citizens of all political leanings don’t have easy access to these. Tell Congress to reject the SAVE Act ⬇️:
