I just remembered the term. Its called trauma-induced identity fragmentation. Its super common actually. Just not well known. Sometimes it gets misdiagnosed with DID. But is very different. As it is vrs of one person not multiple unique alters

Its hard to explain but yeah. So when it happens consciously or unconsciously for me I usually struggle. Like when you reload into an old save and try to figure out wtf you were doing. But instead its an older version of me thats tryna figure out wtf is happening around me. Brains are wack dude
