Langford has a "mild oblique strain" that will keep him sidelined for 5-7 days. But "mild" oblique injuries tend to not be mild if you push them too quickly, so I'm hoping we really don't see him for a few weeks to make sure he's okay. Obliques are very, very tricky in baseball.

If you are someone who is complaining, or is going to complain about how the ABS challenge system is going to "lengthen the game" I have a note after watching this system in action in the minors: an argument over a close ball-strike call takes WAY longer than a challenge.
