Just send them long at this point. I would rather turn it over on the halfway line with a set defensive structure.

I disagree that they are bigger concerns. I donā€™t think Chido has even seen a touch since coming on. The service and overall poor play in possession is the bigger concern for me. Heā€™s been shit but I think it would be harsh to make a final decision on a kid his age with this lack of service.

It wasnā€™t our worst half of football but not exactly inspiring.

Will they actually do/say anything though? I agree with you but I feel anything noteworthy happening is a long shot.

Was it expected that the loss wouldnā€™t really hurt us, in terms of metrics?

Itā€™s beginning to border on ETH levels where the game is decided before he will make a change.

Agree but Amorim needs to realize on days like today that the system has to change. Bruno and Case were never going to be able to cover the necessary space in the middle of the park.

I am just not seeing it with him. The footwork is undeniable but it always seems to me that he lacks any work ethic on the defensive phase of the game. From halftime until he had that header chance, he was completely out of the game. LBs and CMs dribbling around him like he is a training cone.

Maybe not from our center but I prefer that shot selection to the pump fake, then one step inside the arc pull up.

What would be the timeline if it were a staph?

What the hell were they guys doing in training this week?

Now we just have to see if the deeper roster of arms can sort itself into a dominant rotation.

If you think thatā€™s good, these two races set the field. Then the actual race is divided into 3 parts where the first 2 mean absolutely nothing other than some artificial value towards the playoffs at the end of the year. The third part of the race is still the part that actually matters.

2nd qualifying race that helps set the starting order for Sundayā€™s race.

I donā€™t love that call but it looked identical to the one that went against us in the first half.

A bit strange that our 6 TOs have come from 6 different guys.

They are well timed. Sadly I feel like only half of them are rewarded but itā€™s great to see in his first year!

Looks like we may need it tonight as well.

Any idea how many minutes Omaha can go tonight?

Enjoyed the pod but i disagree that Bruno is playing CM simply due to ground coverage. It feels to me that he is the only playable MF option that can spring an attack. The system seems so reliant on outside CBs making passes between the lines. Without Licha that does not happen so Bruno plays deep.

Sure but is he going to do it consistently? I hope he does. The fresh start could do him well and if he succeeds then it will be easier for United to sell him, and hopefully hold on to their current young talent.

Looking forward to watching Marek at the Couch with our newborn son, Marek, this season! Hopefully Griffin will continue posting his work over here as well.

I know Zirkzee will get a lot of credit for his goal but Hojlund making the run and trying the ambitious back heel finish is even more encouraging for me. Garnacho was definitely our best tonight but if we can get Hojlund going with him, then we can make a Europa or FA cup run.
