Ah..technology in schools....I used a mimeograph before the photocopier was phased in. I used a film projector in my early teaching days to show "videos" to class. My PC used MS-DOS using a green CRT screen. This was in the early 1990s. #bcedchat #edusky @edusky.bsky.social

So beneficial to know the professional aspect of what goes on in classroom. One benefit was communication to parents and putting to rest any concerns.

Thanks for sharing Rosa. I was principal of a school that offered a Mandarin Bilingual program. Things great info to share.

We even did a few live events when we got together in person following the Core Competencies Edcamp hosted by @jnovakowski.bsky.social and @carrieantoniazzi.bsky.social

No plans to bring it back. It was a lot of work and participation dropped off in the last few years before we decided to ending. I do miss the days when it was a super vibrant community. #bcedchat

Nice! My first computer was a Texas Instruments TI-99/4A. Would borrow computer magazines from library to program in TI-Basic. Stored programs on cassette tape.

Thanks Cindy. No plans to bring back moderated chats but wanted to create a space to share ideas. #bcedchat
