It is awful but realistic to believe that northern regions will benefit from global warming, in comparison to US. I read somewhere that the US economy will shrink by ⅓ when Canada's economy has expanded greatly.

Absolutely. After 7 million peaceful Jews were murdered in Europe in 130 years, now 7 million Jews -- half of all in the world -- now live in Israel which was sanctioned as a Jewish-governed state by the UN 8 decades ago. Palestinians rejected a two-state solution then. Israel protects itself.
