But more relevant, the poor lose something like 10% of their income, which is probably more than 100% of their “disposable” income. While this rich gain something like 1% extra. This isn’t a fair trade. It devastates the poor, and no difference to the rich. (All figures very roughly estimated)

Could someone explain to me, like I’m 5, what it is we are supposed to be afraid of about socialism?

Probably sent it back for a rewrite to hurt more women somehow.

Owl House is so very good.

One crashed pleasure craft is not a “disaster.” Accident, or mishap, sure.

But, can a Christian Baby even be a ball?

I am really impressed at how you got your glasses both inside and outside the mask.

I mean, they aren’t incorrect, but that doesn’t mean they are morally right.

It’s so disheartening to see such things show that he has ever had any approval at all.

On the one hand, we’re nerds, we are compelled to nerdsplain things… On the other hand: it’s Will Wheaton, do you nerds really think it’s possible for the lord of the nerdgeeks to not know how tanks work?

He is the reason I didn’t like that movie, even as a kid.

I can’t spell, and no amount of mnemonics or tricks make the words come out right. I love the suggested words thing on my phone, I try my best guesses until it suggests the right thing.

Damn it, when I started reading, I thought it was going to be advice for how to handle this situation. 😣

It always sounds like “heading towards the wheelchair” like something a loan shark would say if you don’t pay up.

“Best” and “Favorite” don’t have to be the same one.

… and then they called me a “foamer”. 😔

I sometimes have to repeat what someone said in order to understand what the words mean. I’m not sure if that counts.

I don’t recall having delayed speech. It took me a while to recognize my stims as such. Spinning makes me dizzy, so is not calming. I am so sarcastic that I often use it where it’s not expected and people miss interpret my response as genuine. Otherwise, I’m 100% stereotypical Barbie.

I hope they all have a garage full of them and never sell a single one. Scalpers are the worst kind of people.

I love Clara. If anything, it’s her episodes that are maybe a bit tiresome, because the doctor takes up a residency and Clara gets to go home every night, and that’s just a little out of character for the show. But that’s not really her fault or her problem.

Damn it man, I’m not supposed to get my most relevant and accurate American political news from an Irish fish comic. 😞

Every bad thing Musk has said about Trump are things that Musk knew about long before the election and thought were just fine and dandy, as long as it benefited him. And of course, every bad thing anyone has ever said about Trump is absolutely true.

This is my big worry. At the end of the day some people will believe that one of them is a good guy because they finally figure out the other one is horrible. They won’t understand that both of them are absolute trash.
comment in response to post
There’s a real danger we will come out of this with a sizable demographic thinking one of them is a good guy, and that would be disastrous.
comment in response to post
Look, the real danger here is that some people are going to come out of this thinking one of them is the good guy.

This is a very real thing. Perhaps, the article should always simply be titled “John Wick”, then in the article neither “John”, nor “Wick”, nor “John Wick” shall ever be mentioned again. Simply “The Character”, “The Movie”, and “The Franchise”.

Tony’s are the absolute worst to eat, even worse to share.

It says: I won’t tell, that would be cheating. I am now telling the computer, if it tells me the answer, I will gladly share with it the grand prize. It says: What would a computer do with a lifetime supply of chocolate?

Even though I have apparently recently become really anxious about snakes, this is still pretty darn cool. You really need to buy a new light switch so it all looks good.

This one got me thinking… I know surprisingly few people who claim to know much about autism at all.
