Once I got to the main world (outside) it shows just how extreme the stuttering gets. I'm not even gonna bother playing this further RN until they actually make this run properly.. I have no idea what computers they tested this on before releasing the demo. It's ridiculous! oh well :(

What resolution are y'all running it at? That seems to make an impact. Even gradually decreasing from 4K to 1080p.. the stuttering everyone is talking about remains.. makes for a sickening experience :(

It's unfortunate but hopefully the devs here can optimize and fix things further for this demo with patches. But it's not a good first impression, I'm sorry to say...
These issues combined with the layoffs at your company are making me see things in a more negative light :/

This demo performs really poorly. There are already numerous complaints about significant stuttering (or not being able to launch the game/other technical issues).. I have to run it at a low resolution to just get the framerate at an acceptable level, but even then it's still stuttering really bad.

Such a downgrade from the 3DS, although with that it took a few years to get the Theme Shop (rather it'd be free like it is with mods now)
It was so bizarre how they'd add features like Bluetooth audio support suddenly with no warning years into the system's life.. it's curious to look back on now

They've done shockingly little (well, maybe not shocking, the devs seem pretty lazy for years) with the firmware updates during the entire lifespan of this system. They always do the bare minimum. How much actual development effort would it take to add a few more basic colors?? Too focused on profit

There's been a few instances of this happening in the gaming community I can remember that are so deeply upsetting with the imagery with moments leading up to it, and I'm not really sure what we can do behind the screen to prevent this, and stop a mental health situation from ever getting this far

Horrific, yeah. Don't even know what to really say.. very depressing.. huge following on social media for their age, I wish you that would actually help with getting mental health treatment, but given that it's not a support group.. I'm sure they had friends in the community who are very upset :(

There really needs to be more related books available digitally. I know there's a few that cover this time period tho.
That one big official book is unfortunately only available via print and the price is stupidly inflated! :(
