I'm also surprised not one media outlet posted about this. Winston's rhetoric seems to be getting more & more out of hand. It doesn't help that the PM is too spineless to rein him in. Jacinda would have said something that's for sure. Luxon's looking weaker by the second.

Ooh that is a good question. I'm not sure. The first time I came across it was probably 5 yrs ago now when I did a toon for the SST. I'll have to find out now

It's all good David. I'm glad you were able to explain to your friends. A lot of people don't know the significance of the poppies colour and I'm happy they do now. Kia kaha β€οΈ

The purple is for the fallen animals as you've said. There are a few different versions of the white and black I know that. Surely all the ways those colours have been attributed by myself & others can be accepted? All human life lost by pointless wars should be honoured.

Hi David, in this respect the white poppy is for the pacifists and the black poppies are for our indigenous soldiers.

I miss so many posts! Iβve followed the account - am happy to donate to help others. Not interested in receiving a gift prefer to give to others. Is there a link for that Andrew? Sorry if youβve already posted that :)

Isn't this defamation? This is incredibly dangerous rhetoric. The LGBTQ+ community already struggle massively with this disgusting term being thrown at them. Why isn't there more press on it?? I'm hoping ChlΓΆe gets a case together. Or the leader of the house forces him to apologise.

The same day, the Israeli military launched an airstrike on an UNRWA school in Jabalia, killing at least 6 people including the entire Asaliya family.
