Ok, Canadians. You know what to do. Tighten our belts. Strengthen our resolve. Show our unity. Demonstrate our national pride. Support our real allies. Put Canada first forever and always.

Got a load of love for this bloke. Talented, humble, and immensely funny.

Apparently the 25% tariffs on Canadian goods, which no one except one arrogant old man wanted, will kick in tomorrow. We can hit them back in key industries and focus on red states. We can make it hurt & they are fragmented. The Canadian economy is much smaller, but we are united & we are strong.

I know there’s a lot of talk about Ukraine right now, but do not ignore the atrocities in Palestine.

The new world order is so annoying and exhausting. But at least it’s clear that we have to fight.

OK then, Calgary Sun. Not wanting to be absorbed by the United States is now "woke."

Word for all my American pals who days like today are shameful and hurtful. The world knows Trump and Vance don’t speak for you. Resist friends, resist.

Even amongst the chaos of the last month, it feels like today we witnessed a monumental shift in the world order. And it's absolutely terrifying.

My heart breaks.

I take back everything bad I've ever said about Jessie Marsch.

Kind of wishing I needed to buy a tractor right now!

I think ads are only covering up 80% of this article. Do better @yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk! With a little more effort, surely you could get it as high as 95% advertising, with one line of text? Is this how you afford Harry Potter adventures, @grahamsmyth.bsky.social? @joedonnohue.bsky.social

We might be... going up??? #lufc

Central Canadian Elites! Grassroots initiatives! Energy independence! Environmental integrity as a resource! This episode has a lot going on between @jessebrown.bsky.social and Preston, the old western battle axe; well done and worth a listen.

why were so many saying last week that top two was sealed etc have these people seen a) the Sky Bet Championship or b) Leeds United before?

Kevin O'Leary to @ianhanomansing.bsky.social on Cross Country Checkup, rough quote: "The Canadian dollar has dropped 40% against the US dollar under Trudeau." Fact check: the CAD has dropped 34% from the 2011 peak, but just 4% of that drop happened under Trudeau. The big drop happened under Harper.

This goes triple for polar bears, the second most huggable looking creatures on earth. (Pandas are number 1, obviously)

There can be no equivocating or defense. These people are out in the open and they must be fought. In the papers, in the courts and in the streets. Wherever they are found. In the US, UK, Germany wherever. Fuck. Fascists. Forever.

Here's video of Steve Bannon doing a Sieg Heil today at CPAC. It is what it is and it's what Bannon intended. Don't let yourself be gaslit.

Electrification of medium and heavy duty trucks, a big source of fuel demand, is underway in China. The reason? Average battery prices of $90/kWh, 50% lower than prices outside China. Costs will fall as production, deployment scale up. Another data point for peak oil demand.

Have to say that Sunderland look like the team playing with all the confidence tonight.

Begrudging respect for that goal from Isidor. Plenty of time to get back in the game, but can we do it? The part of me that's seen us lose this game too many times says no. The optimistic part of me says yes, but I'll admit it's a lot more quiet. #lufc

I'm concerned about Canadians booing the American national anthem during sporting events, particularly when I think about the anthem singer. I mean, what if they want to boo, too? Should we play the anthem a second time to make sure they also get a chance?
