Always! Now, don't get me wrong, hearing that they don't like it definitely gets me sad, but I've always walked away with a lot of knowledge afterwards. Also, watching someone that DOES enjoy my game makes my week! It's always the best.

Other than finding it here one Steam, you can also play it on ItchIO! Give it a wishlist and stay tuned for an upcoming update! store.steampowered.com/app/3105220/...

Okay it’s not actually a parry animation…it’s just the animation right before the parry 😅

Game balance is tricky, but finding something everyone likes is trickier! I’ve gotten similar feedback on my own game. Just pick what you like most and go with it! You’ll find the right crowd of people for it either way :) (Though I do like a challenge myself…)

Yeeessssssss! Seriously, getting an animation or sprite *just right* is such an amazing feeling.

I let me friend try it pretty early on, once I had all the base mechanics made. I wanted to get that feedback early on. I think it paid off, but it also caused me to release my demo a little earlier than I think I should have

Every time I think of forgotten Microsoft games / franchises I think of Blinx the Time Sweeper. Dang that was such a good game that will probably never come back.

No, nothing like that has happened, but it's probably because I've been a little stubborn lol. I've dropped several game projects in the past after a few months of work and I was finally like "That's it, no more quitting!" and have stayed on this one ever since. Restarting can be helpful though!

Thanks! I’ve been going strong for around 3 years now. Not going to stop any time soon!
