Yeah, mine is getting pretty old, too. got myself a samsung a52 like four years ago. SURPRISINGLY, the battery protection feature where it just stops charging at 80% did a really good job. it can still last like half a day of active use and several days on standby. thermal imaging does sound dope

Got that five year old android phone energy. You can watch the % go down in real time.

That's one I'll save for later! <3

Yeah, I find it cool, too, but my worry is that it's only interesting to other artists, and nobody else. Need to look out for the majority, too!

Thank you! Not something I get to do as often as I'd like, so I'm looking forward to some study time <3

Thanks! I'll think about the best way to do that stuff.

I'll probably tone down the level of what can only be described as schizo-posting while I actually do studies in the future. and mostly keep it to myself. The end goal, however, will be to apply what I've learned again and see if there's progress.

I think I've done this before, but I'll also upload a thing where I critique myself, too. That's kind of useful, and maybe someone else has a different method?

Aww! Thank you! No need to rush anything, feel free to take your time and think about what you'd like and DM me any time.

Happy birthday! I haven't had the time to draw anything for you yet, so feel free to le me know what you'd like, and I'll do something for you a bit later <3

I might just do the Ahmed Aldoori challenge, and maybe throw in some OC faces and requests, but first I need to work on the structure itself a little bit.
Also do all the comm admin stuff, like prices, redoing my carrd, and some image gallery stuff i wanted to do. That comes first.

For me, I think the biggest pain point when it comes to the face, is that part where the nose kind of connects to the brow ridge. That little T shaped junction that then goes into the eye sockets.
The way I structure my faces in general, I feel like could do with an upgrade, so we'll see.

Thanks! I'm not sure it applies to me, since I'm eastern european, so the prices will be way off, but the reviews will help a lot!

Mmm, gotta love a good patient zero. Really gets the plagues going!

All that work finally paying off! I'll be reading reviews for the next little bit.
Since I use my monitors for work, and entertainment, + art, it makes sense to invest better equipment. Plus, I need to clear some stuff out, so I'll see if I can sell junk like my 3d printer to make recoup the cost.

Update to the burnt in monitor lore - I just left it alone running some videos and it fixed itself. Not sure what happened there.
It's time for an upgrade anyway, since I can't get the reds to look the way they should despite having a calibrator.

Yup! The plan is to not do anything for the rest of the week (unless the last commissioner gets back to me). Just admin work.

Thanks! Those are always fun to do, but I feel like I need to do more landscape stuff to get better at those <3

Ran some numbers that I log. Let's keep in mind I also work 40 hours a week at my day job, and live alone so + day-to-day chores.
I've done art for, not counting admin work like talking to people and feedback:
February so far - 44 h
January - 67 h
December 41 h
I think it's time for a nap.

And as always, a timelapse!

That 100% works, but the benefit of having that thing is being able to observe the exact same pose under any angle. What I've started doing recently is making a pose, drawing it, rotating it like 90 degrees and drawing it again, and observe it in ways I can't with a photo or my own hand.

That WOULD explain why so many of the leg stumps had a hole!

Usually people have birthdays nine months from a major holiday. (Sorry people born in early October, late November, you're a valentines day gift). Not sure what's up with february though!

That's a good suggestion! I'll need to update my TOS and start asking people if they're okay with it <3

I think at this point you're better off rubbing the battery between your hands and hoping the static tops you off!

I feel really weird about advertising my work using comm artwork.
If I'm posting my own work in places like reddit, I'll think of meme title to provoke engagement, and doing that feel really weird when it's not my characters. I genuinely feel bad for advertising like that when the work is paid for

Yeah, had loads of fun with this one! <3
Bit of a stress test on anatomy, when you have to draw it upside down, though!

Timelapse! Shows how I draw cum stuff, too.
