Update - they have somehow managed to go with none of the options we have discussed. I will no longer be providing input to family members for free.

What did clothes do? More fake pockets? It's always fake pockets.

We have once again, discussed what to do... stay tuned to see if I go to jail.

Thanks! I'm leaving some value on it for shading and adjustments. When I'm done, it should lean more towards a blue-ish charcoal color.

WIth CSP, you click one button. With Krita, you put everything in a folder. If you put a folder in a folder, it seems to ignore the settings of the first one. There has to be a better way, because trying to adjust more than one thing will get really complicated really fast.

The marker pen is pretty great, though. I'll see if it works for lines!

Now that I think about it, in some cases they automatically tag it as nsfw even if I do tag it correctly.

Of all the times I've forgotten to tag it correctly, the automod did it for me in about .5 seconds. I'm not sure how that stuff is sneaking by.

As always, this isn't a guarantee for free art. I don't know how I'd use the characters, or what I'd do with them if anything at all, but it's always nice to have options, and sometimes it feels nice to do something for other people.
My way of being social without having to be social. <3

I'm a bit antisocial, so me proactively reaching out to people to ask if I can use their characters or vtuber stuff or whatever would probably drain my social batteries until 2035.
I think the shotgun approach is better.
I don't know when I'll use em, or how, but I might eventually.

I'm quite happy with what I have now! <3 Really doesn't take more than a couple of brushes.

I like the idea, but I can also see it turn problematic in about .5 seconds.🤔

OFC I uploaded the wrong image first, so I had to repost like i'm schizoposting.

Might be time for something more ambitious. If anyone has any ideas - let me know.
As for blending, it's hard to describe, but CSP always felt like it just makes things blurry and muddy, because it adds more "paint", while Krita feels like you're smearing what's already there, which feels nicer.

That is so cool. Love seeing the process!

I don't know why, but the inclusion of those tiny hands always makes everything better.
A doctor could be pointing at cancerous mass on an x-ray, and it'll be at least 30% better if they do it with that thing.

It'll take some getting used to. They do some things pretty differently.
Though I love the fact that it's open source, and you can install community mods on it. Already looking at some stuff I want to try when I get used to the vanilla experience!

I'll spend the rest of the week playing with brushes and settings before committing to anything more complex.

This was just me playing with the pencil tool, and trying to figure out how the hell clipping layers and layer masks work in Krita. Still, I'm feeling a lot more committed than I did in my previous attempts to hop over!
I might try and push this a bit further, maybe be brave and flatted the image.

From personal experience, I can say that it'll grow back in a few weeks! Although I'm not sure if it's the same one, or if they come back different. Something to read about at 3AM one random night.

Oh yeah, cold water is step 1! It's been about an hour, and despite the fact I melted off my fingerprint, it's not blistering, so it should be fine!

All joking aside, I think in trying to be helpful, they accidentally screwed me over a bit. All of my previous settings, tags and brushes have been saved, despite uninstalling the software, so now I'm struggling to get things back to their default state again.

A lack of support for any software is bad, but I think the opposite is bad too. There's a ton of resources, tutorials, brushes, etc, but it's all pretty decentralized so it feels like I'm scrounging around in a dumpster
Also, 95% of people don't know what they're talking about when making tutorials

That's odd! It sounds like we've got the same ones. Maybe I'm just lucky.

My question is - HOW? I've had the same pen for so long, the rubber on the spare they included started to degrade and melt.
Are you squeezing the life out of it? Tossing it around? I MUST KNOW.

I basically spent the day trying not to nap, so i don't go to bed at 2AM (I have to get up at 6ish for work), regretting all of my life choices, and playing The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap on the totally legal emulator. (PS: that game is gorgeous)
