Different game makers copy different things. Sony's has a odd origin, Nintendo is one of the 'OGs', and xbox might be one of the older companies but it's pretty 'new' in the game community.

We really need someone to do a 'retrofuturistic' version of these kinds of things, especially over the different decades. Really love seeing what the past used to think our future would look like. Sadly we're going towards what I thought would be fiction in my youth.

I can't believe how many i know agree with this kind of tripe. Thry try this every few years, it might actually pass this time though. Just like the "Christian natuon" crap being pushed.
