teaching is like racing down while holding a bunch of eggs without breaking them, some of them want to fall off and break and also some other times the eggs are either angsty or stressed or they really, really want your attention

teaching is like doing stand up, and sometimes you need to tell the joke three times in a row because some people didn't hear it. also the joke is actually just a set of instructions (only two or three of them!)
