I haven't had a bad encounter yet through webfishing, and I'd say acnh as well. Though I've only logged 19.2 hours on webfishing and 850+ hours on acnh (mostly single player, but my partner is part of a really nice community of multiplayers that help each other find recipes and rare furniture)
