It's like some Democratic funders got together and were, like, "How do we derail the progressive momentum?"

I look at how much houses are going for in my town and think "We need to cash in now!" except the problem then arises: Where do we live? The only thing to do would be to roll the "profit" over into another, more expensive house and die slowly.

I agree, this would be good to know. I'd also like my CBC to be more trustworthy than "sad lab tech counted by eye". 😀 I like to imagine plenty of people somewhere are working on it. But maybe they're too busy on important things, like male pattern baldness.

"Run semen under hot water" is not an instruction I expected to read today. 😁 I imagine there are experts out there who do something like this to count crowds but note you immobilize or kill the cells you're counting on a slide. That helps.

Just a rule of thumb: If you're wondering why we don't have tech to do X the answer is almost always "it turns out doing X is way harder than it looks".

I appreciate your update of Pink Floyd's "The Fletcher Memorial Home" in this. "If we could toss the Ayatollahs, Netanyahu, Ben-Gvir, Trump, Stephen Miller, Elon Musk, and their various cronies in a cage and have them all beat each other to death with rusty sporks"

I understand that someone going ninja on these assholes would most likely be counterproductive, but I really want to see it.

Imagine also that the chicken joint owner wants to burn down the pizza joint and imprison everyone who ever wanted pizza. He's convinced the other chicken diners that pizza people aren't really human and also that the world is going to end when God returns in a month or two.

I brought my kids up to not care what other people think and now they're so weird I've come to realize I'm way weirder than I thought I was and it's hopeless.
