Finally got to play Votes for Women. It came down to a Final Vote and, due to some unlucky dice rolls by my wife, I managed to keep those troublesome women from voting! Because, you know, men have done such a great job so far. 🙄 On the plus side, she wants a rematch! I’m a lucky guy. #boardgames

My total 2024 gaming. It’s a testament to how much my wife and I are enjoying Sky Team, considering we just bought it in November. Gloomhaven is still a solid 10 for me and Return to Dark Tower is one of the best game purchases I’ve made. Sea Salt & Paper comes out when we want something quick.

Spending a month on Bluesky has created a whole new model of a fight we need to be having right now. Not liberal vs. conservative or whatever, but respect vs manipulation. I am tired of being manipulated everywhere I go. That’s why I like it here, I feel like I’m in charge for once.

I have a question/plea/something that I would like to pose. Whenever I get the #wargaming feed, I get a lot of stuff with tabletop miniatures. I have nothing against them, but I am interested in board wargames. Is there a good hashtag to filter just those? Like #boardwargames?
