It is kind of crazy we do not just teach equivalence testing alongside the t-test in bachelor stats courses (or well, we started to since 5 years, but in general). Super simple (it is just 2 t-tests after all), improves our inferences. Seems like it should have happened decades ago.

So, the crisis is not about "science is BS, scientists are all doing fake research, we are all gonna die", it is about "our knowledge is limited, our methodologies should be (and can be!) improved, so we have a lot of work to do, let's study hard, work hard and help the situation!"
