because it really appears to my eyes y'all just want someone who looks good in a performative clip that can go viral instead of making connections across the country, gaining public governmental experience, and actually talking to people, especially the base which is decidedly NOT white OR male.

if hogg and his supporters want to run the democratic party, then they actually have to do the work and take it from those currently in charge. and you do it by convincing people that you are right and the ones in charge are not.

and by the way I find it really odd that he'd rather target "ineffective" democrats like jim clyburn (a safe seat in a red state) but not, oh say, nancy pelosi, steny hoyer, or bernie sanders, who are all just as old but are in blue states.

doing what hogg wanted is not how you do it. if you want people to leave who won't recruit someone, organize and fundraise for them, and turn people out to vote for them AT THE LOCAL LEVEL. and if you cannot or will not do that, that's on the local districts not the national party.

b) I don't need to be a democrat to see that replacing people, actually demanding they give up their seats, just because they are old and giving them to younger people just because they are younger is the quickest and easiest way to completely wipe out the party.

and to those who want to attack me as being a party sellout, a) I've been a registered non partisan since I first registered out of high school in 2002 because I had always thought democrats have been weak and stood for very little if anything at all and

speaking of which, hogg's PAC has been active for 4 years in florida. how many seats did his PAC help flip? what signature legislation did the florida assembly pass?
comment in response to post
and what I do not understand is that the thing those people wanted hogg to do is the EXACT SAME THING they accused the party of doing in 2016. it sounds to me like they just want to take the party over without any coherent plan to do so or real strategy of winning seats.

let me also be crystal clear: his initial message of elected democrats needing to get younger is CORRECT. HOWEVER THE PARTY VICR CHAIR 👏CAN👏NOT👏 SAY THAT. that's why he has a PAC. you CANNOT run a PAC _and_ be an officer of a major party. that's a major conflict of interests you cannot have.

he brought nothing to the table but infighting, distraction, personal grievance, and hubris. he attracts no young voters. he had no positive qualities that can be easily replicated. and the fact that the ones upset he's gone don't see that either is revealing about them too.

on the way there though the bus stopped at a restaurant just outside of e-town. I didn't need to go but the guys who did talked about how racist the people were. we were 15-18 years old. coming back home when we needed another break the bus pulled to the side of the road.

I've lived here all my life and never experienced racism in the state directly BUT I got second hand news about it. I was the manager for our hs bb team and we went to a holiday tourney in russell county in 2000. we had 3 white kids on the team, and everything was cool down there.

there's something tragic going on on the planet RIGHT NOW. I can't do anything about it so I don't abuse my mental health by worrying about it. if they want to live in a constant state of mental anguish and agitation, fine. but don't drag me or others down there with you.

I'd drive one if you paid me $200 billion.

add in that it appears that the party is trying to pivot to white men and away from the base which is not white men and yeah imagine that the black woman who worked with the president would not associate herself with the party anymore, a position I find relatable.

oh no!

according to the nl central standings, yes, you are quite correct. #flythew

is it just me, but is anyone else tired of people associating anti-semitism with anti-state of israel? it's like calling something anti-christian anti-state of united states.

this happened in my hometown but thankfully not at our store. what makes this even better, this was during march where local team pride is high and could very easily fool people. haven't seen too many c grades posted, but changing the color from red to brown probably would be better.
comment in response to post
failing grades tend to stick around in people's memory for a long time. don't think that just because bedminster BARELY passed this inspection should not inspire confidence. the few times we've had failing grades, we went above and beyond to make sure we got 100 on our follow-up.

(professional hat off) 3. that being said, knowing who owns the club and what the quality of everything he's involved with is, it's extremely unlikely that any of the corrective actions taken have stuck past the follow-up visit date.

2. having an inspector being sent out almost immediately after the story was published isn't unusual UNLESS the story was published the same day as the initial inspection. it isn't uncommon for the inspector to show back up 2-14 days later.

i have a few things to say about this from a professional experience point of view: 1. getting a passing grade after a failure on the next inspection happens more often than you think. this is because the managers will overstress correcting the major violations that caused the failure.

there are going to be A. LOT. of umpires who are going to get embarrassed next year. i predict we're going to see a ton of ump show for the rest of the year.

what's the purpose of replay if they still get the call obviously wrong?

i can answer the question right now. HELL FUCKING NO.

so yeah, happy pride month y'all. be with whoever the fuck you want to be with. and if you do have a problem with someone identified in the pride celebration, go fuck yourself you miserably hateful bitch.

if we had that kind of cloning technology, i wouldn't have needed to wait 4 years for a kidney, they could have just made one for me since i got put on the list right after the election in 2020.

affecting a part of a historic district affects sightseeing tours which attracts people from outside town which is interstate commerce. thankfully we don't worry about oil tankers here, we worry about coal barges overturning and sinking in the river 🤷 (which does really happen).
