Not sure as I'm not fully immersed in the cogs of the federal gov, but email generation, redundant calculations, approval of funding requests/payments to vendors, etc., no idea.
As I said, I'm not an AI fan, but even I have found use in it for redundant tasks that follow a strict formula.

As much as I'm not a fan of AI and how it's generally used, I would venture there are redundant processes within the Federal Government (the CRA as an example) that could be better automated overall for cost savings.
