This morning, C-TRAN staff stopped by the National Federation of the Blind of Washington’s annual convention to share some exciting news: Starting today, we are offering free visual interpretation service for blind and low-vision passengers through Aira!

On Friday, January 10, a handful of C-TRAN employees traveled with a bus to Seattle to join the memorial procession for fallen King County Metro Transit bus operator Shawn Yim. Our thoughts are with King County Metro and everyone who knew and loved Shawn. 🤍

Next stop: La Center! Starting Sunday, January 12, Route 48 will extend service to La Center, stopping at E Birch Avenue and 6th Street. Better yet, this is a park-and-ride stop, providing 25 spots for you to drop your car, hop on the bus, and make your way around the county.

Saturday, January 11, is National Human Trafficking Awareness Day, and January is National Human Trafficking Prevention Month. If you ride our buses, you may have noticed posters on our vehicles that provide resources to those who need assistance.
