This is in reply to some discourse(tm) that is occuring with folks who don't like guns/are anti-gun. I suspect a number of them are bad faith, so I didn't post anything directly. But I do think that even if you are ideologically opposed to firearms, you should still engage in other skills/areas.

Short of the above, I wish for the complete abolition of them, through whatever means are prudent. I am uninterested in arguing the merits of LLMs/GenAI. I have a background in tech, I know how they work better than you do. I generally think less of you if you use LLMs for any reason.

I've been saying this since season 1, and I am glad folks are finally coming around to it.

I am so OOTL that I don't even understand what the deal is. Looks like standard Periphery/pirate forces, or even solaris fighters. Aren't people happy with more sculpts? Is there some bigger thing going on? Did they bring back the flying aliens?

What we have right now is a system that, on occasion, can produce some good men. We need a system that actively makes men better.

I have the oppertunity to work alongside a lot of progressive/leftist men, and I often hear about what *exactly* got them into believing what they believe. Each time it's a product of BOTH chance and high moral character. This is not how we build a new generation.

There is a reason Andrew Tate is popular. It isn't that young boys want to be shitheads, it's that the lie he's selling is appealing. "Get rich, get adored by hot girls, do whatever you want" We need just as a compelling message, and we need to be blasting it everywhere.

I'm not saying that there aren't existing pathways, but rather that they are not advertised at all. If half of our culture was shouting from the rooftops "to be a man is to dedicate your time to the service of those in need" we wouldn't be in the position we are in.

Sure, but who is pointing young men towards that? What messaging are we doing to reinforce this? Why would a 14yo boy, when trying to figure out how to be a "man", have that pathway as an option presented to him in a way that is compelling?

The closest thing is basically either "ultra-attractive himbo" in the vein of Hasan, or "not-at-all-masculine self-hating man". These are not things that men think they can be, or want to be. There is a reason why folks like Andrew Tate look attractive to a 14 year olds.

The major concern i have is this is a setup for the exec. to fully take the power of the purse. Have a 1-2week long gov shutdown combined with some other manufactured crisis, and then have POTUS jump in and say "congress can't get this funded, so I will act"
