I don't get the macho attitude towards safety. Do machinists not want to keep their hands?

I use it under a fume hood with an air extractor. It's not 100% but it eliminates most fumes in the room.
Unless, that is, I spill it where it leaks out.
What happened to you 30 yrs ago?

It's the first of 3 being reviewed. 12 min mark. Ish.

I've seen that one enough times to recognize a single still from it. It really is a pile of nonsense that encapsulates the meaninglessness of '70s tv programming.
Have you seen the Red Letter Media review of it on YouTube?

Is that Phantom of the Park? Oh my. ๐

By instead allowing shysters like O'Leary to present unchecked misinformation, and placing the onus on listeners to "do their own research," the broadcast effectively shirked its journalistic responsibility.
It offered about as much value as a Reddit Thread.

Having watched it, I have made up my mind. It was an absolute disgrace. #CBC needs to review their editorial policies.
Nonconsensual annexation of our country is not a subject that requires a "both sides" conversation. No means no. Platforming useful idiots like O'Leary just made it worse.

Not one academic.
Not one political expert to describe acts of war against Canada.
We are not represented by Dragon's Den celebrities.
Perhaps you are auctioning us off as a small biz to the U.S.?
Perhaps we should sell CBC to NPR?

A caller had to shame CBC/NPR to remind them that this whole discussion is about an ACT OF WAR
Thanks god to that caller who reminded CBC/NPR that 90% of Canadians oppose this idea, and that this is the threat of territorial annexation, which is a violation of international law

I wouldn't ask O'Leary on how to navigate a boat, let alone a country.

Aha. I was on a black Rebel eastbound and waved. I'd say you're going to get spotted like this if you ride a purple bike ๐๐ช

Their special expert commentator guest is... wait for it...
KEVIN O'LEARY.
Yes, the Trumpist con who wants to sell us out.

This is just getting worse every hour. Iโm a massive CBC supporter but this is abhorrent. @ianhanomansing.bsky.social is this the โcareโ you claim you were taking? Asking Kevin OโLeary to legitimize Trumpโs threats of annexation? WTF.

Oof. This whole affair just got worse for me. This morning, I heard a CBC blurb on Fresh Air. The NPR host said they have invited Canadian guests to "comment" on behalf of Canada. One guest will be Kevin O'Leary, failed Conservative leadership candidate, who has ZERO mandate to speak for Canadians.

Go for a boot around the block. Get rained on and have fun.
I mean, yeah, the other drivers are more dangerous in the rain, but it's otherwise fine if you stay within the traction limits.

I took my Rebel on some errands for an hour today. It was a bit damp, yes. Not unpleasant, though.

Ian and the Cross-Country Checkup team:
You really let us down with this one by normalizing invasion.

Our descendants will look back on this moment in absolute shock and dismay. Of that I have no doubt.
"Fascists threatened to invade before they went ahead and did it and the national broadcaster politely asked people to weigh in on whether it was actually a cool and smart idea? Where were you?!"
