[re: Moaning about AI Generation] @DankandDebauchery You don't have to pay people (youtubers) for content creation if you can generate what ever you want. Their search engine is _already_ unusable so hopefully people can start to see the lack of credibility. I sincerely hope google is capable […]

@BalooUriza I have been passively researching these with the intention of switching from my gen 3 Nest and the Home Assistant subreddit really seems to like the Ecobee3 lite. People that have suggested it mention that it's hostable through a Home Kit integration on HA without a cloud service. I […]

@baralheia I've only ever serviced Mo' Bettah's after hours (so I haven't eaten there) but it smells delicious every time I went in. We have a local place here in Tulsa called F's and it's the bomb. Pork and cabbage is my go to... So good!

@Rusty yeah it was probably one of the easiest things I’ve integrated. It’s by ‘Bond’ and it’s native HA… didn’t even have to go to hacs.

@Rusty heh I bought the hub and it works ok so probably not any time soon

@Rusty Whoops. I re-read the description and the hub for them is an RF hub. So it's wifi with extra steps. The blinds look easy to hack if you want to use something like a Shelly relay though

@vulpescubile lol yeah it’s soo cool! The dashboard stems from how often I crawl into my crib and forget to turn on a fan/light or drop the remote I keep thinking of new things to integrate so it’s becoming a game at this point xD

@Rusty The ABU Space print makes a really good background IMO >_>

@baralheia No doubt! I try to keep anything Zuck touches at arm length so I can only imagine what dealing with the metaverse is like. I'm just being a proponent for degoogling as much as possible. I definitely eased into switching. I started with making the addresses and working my way into […]

@baralheia For what it's worth; migrating to a different email is annoying but it's sooo worth it. Moved to mailbox(dot)org about a year an a half ago and it's like night and day. It's a paid service but 100% worth it IMO. No ads and hosted in Germany so there's a lot more privacy. Multiple […]

@BalooUriza Have fun! Hopefully the rain plays nice over the weekend. Ideal camping weather IMO.

@BalooUriza oh Carl’s… or Hardee’s in my case. Worked there as a teen and that burger was an abomination. I was ‘fortunate’ enough to be there during the Paris Hilton era. Our uniform said ‘too thick’…

@baralheia Advil Dual Action is that in a single pill. That combo works so well.

@Rusty what makes me mad is that the stroad I’m on was converted from 4 lane to 2.5 with bike lanes and the city reversed it because people bitched

@Rusty this is true I am very much on the stroads

@cargoweasel.com My intuition from previous retail jobs makes me think they're for more securely hanging things on clothing hangers. Most hangers have little hooks or notches and these loops are used to keep the shoulders of the garment on the hanger.

@Rusty I want to go deeper but I just don’t have time! :blobfoxupsidedowndizzy: Maybe if I automate garden watering I’ll have more time :blobfoxthinkowo:
