Many of them will be contortions of the truth because people want to maintain the status quo even though it is not working. We can not afford to do that. We're not going to let that happen. (3/3)

As a result there are likely going to be stories in the next few days and weeks about me and Leaders We Deserve that will aim to destroy my reputation in order to weaken this effort. Many of them will be lies. (2/3)

Too many elected leaders in the Democratic Party are either unwilling or unable to meet the moment and are asleep at the wheel while Trump is demolishing the economy, challenging the foundations of our democracy, and creating new existential crises for our country by the day.

That number should be more like 95%. This has got to be a cult influence that keeps even 35% of the people willing to let him see another term in the Oval. It's irrational. Lots of books are going to be written about this someday...

Marches & protests DO make a difference: I came of age in the 60s. We had much to protest: Vietnam War, women's rights,Voting Rights Act, civil rights to legislate, a corrupt president. We had lay-ins, sit-ins, marches, protests, speeches everywhere. Protests work! Marches work! They draw attention.

We all know what's wrong. It seems like we keep telling each other the story over & over again, & just listening to ourselves echo back, when what we should be doing is figuring out solutions, different paths to getting out of this nightmare. I don't have any solutions, but we need younger talent!

That's a very low bar for courage. If Mike Pence was a truly courageous man, he would've spoken up during daRump's first term. He did not. The fact that he *did his job* certifying the 2020 election shouldn't result in an award. This cheapens the "award". I won't be impressed from this point on.

This is the man who claims to be the greatest deal maker of all time - he even wrote a book, The Art of the Deal. So do they want us to believe that suddenly the greatest deal maker of all time has become impotent and is incapable of finagling a deal with a tin pot dictator to return this poor man?
