These are such charming miniatures, I especially like the dwarf that's about to hit someone with a chair, brilliant!

Oh shit, I'm sorry to hear that. Hoping it works out somehow, everything is such a mess.

Haha thank you! It was a frustrating experience with tiny pieces of copper thread flying wildly all over my hobby space, whilst I was cursing over my glued together fingers. But it worked out in the end! Got some ideas about how to make it easier for myself next time 💡

Yeah painting miniatures can be very relaxing and almost therapuric at times. It's a great way to get your mind off the madness that is our current reality for a bit. I love listening to audiobooks/music/podcasts whilst painting

Do it! Take the leap! If you're new to painting miniatures I would recommend Iron Warriors, as white is rather time consuming and a bit difficult to paint. Either way, hope you enjoy it! It's a great hobby

Agreed, I really dislike GWs three year cycle and I was hoping Horus Heresy would be a trend breaker (seeing that 1st edition stuck around for ages) as you point out that it's wasteful, and also just contributes to fomo.

Thank you! Hahah yeah it is such an over the top addition to a weapon that already shoots exploding bullets, love it! Cool stuff at the reveal as well, the crusade armor looks awesome

I think you did a fantastic job with this one, but if you'd like some inspiration/feel of the universe I would very much recommend checking out the WH40k art by John Blanche and pages out of the older rulebooks. Very grimdark stuff. You can never go too far over the top with 40k

Cheers! likewise! You seem to have a lot of awesome miniature projects going on, very inspiring! Yeah they are such a cool legion, been itching to dive in and partake in the World Eaters action, really happy to have taken the plunge. Now I just need to acquire a redicilus amount of chain axes
