Just. Demand. A. Lawyer. I cannot tell you how many times I have personally seen people NOT charged with anything despite being threatened and cajoled and even spending the night in jail or detention because they said nothing but demanding a lawyer over and over again.

Also, directly after this a bunch of glasses shattered all over my kitchen and in an attempt to save Percy, I ended up falling and hitting the counter, fridge, and trashcan before hitting the floor (at which point a cutting board fell on me). Good news is that Percy was ok lol
