For the life of me, I can’t figure out why so many Democrats in Congress still don’t have an account on Bluesky. Just as bad, many of those who do have accounts here don’t post on a regular basis. Is it ignorance or laziness on their part? If so, don’t they have staffers handling their social media?

I never understood why things like eyesight, dental, hearing, aren't generally covered under countries that have publicly funded healthcare, like on the NHS in the UK. They are a part of our body too, it just always seemed weird. (Also the ridiculous price of frames, just feels wrong too).

this is the "merit" two-step. first, you strongly imply or state outright that the presence of anyone who isn't a straight, able-bodied white man is unfair "DEI," then you argue that just because an institution is all-male and lily-white doesn't mean there is discrimination. that's just merit!
