@sturdyalex.bsky.social & @pimlicat.bsky.social - You guys should really talk to @garyseconomics.bsky.social. It's all about Wealth Inequality. And it's unreal how he explains it. If you've not heard of him he wrote The Trading Game. Have him on the podcast, people need to hear about it, and care!

We, Europe & Ukraine are alone. The UK has to increase VAT, Income Tax and all other aspects of UK HMG income to rapidly ramp up the Ministry of Defence & UK Armed Forces capability. It will be awful financially, but subjugation and compromise is far, far worse.

The huge @bestforbritain MRP by @yougov out yesterday delved deeply in to the 2024 Lab coalition. Con19-Lab24 switchers, who swept Keir Starmer into Number 10, are twice as likely to say they support the UK aligning with EU standards and regulations compared to those who say they don’t (42%to 18%)

Really pleased @libdems.org.uk are making the right noises around trade with the EU - Necessary changes needed to be addressed in an adult manner. It's not about betraying Brexit, it's about increasing trade with our closest neighbours, for the UK to succeed.
