In a similar vein, imagine if Freddy Mercury was still alive today. You think he was loud and queer back in the 70s and 80s, just think of what he would be doing now, and how much energy he would be devoting to supporting young LGBTQIA+ people.

There are really only two romance options in ME2: Tali and the wrong one.

I had to look it up too, yay zoomer slang .🤣 It means a friend or follower that you have a crush on. It comes from the acronym for ā€œone of my friendsā€ combined with crush.

As someone who has actually read the Simarillion more than once…accurate. 🤣🤣🤣

I will agree that the stories in The Simarillion are as good or better than LotR….it reads like a frigging mythology text book. Sooooooo dry. 🤣

6) I’m a pantheist, which means I believe that the Divine and physical reality are One, and that everything is interconnected in a very real way. This creates a very clear and simple morality for me; if you ARE me just from a different POV, how should I treat you? Or treat the world for that matter?

5) My favorite video game of all time is Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past. I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve beaten it (somewhere north of 20). Honorable mention: Journey, Ni No Kuni, the Hades series, and Harvestella.

4) Music is actually my biggest passion, not writing. I’ve been getting up in front of people and singing since I was about 9, play piano and guitar passably well, and can muck around on about a half dozen other instruments. I even trained as a countertenor (male alto) in college.

3) I have a port-wine-stain birthmark on my lower chest, right at the base of my sternum. It’s about the size of a silver dollar, and I have lost track of the number of times people have mistook it for a hickie (which it totally does look like 🤣)

Fool of a Took! 🤪 And no, I definitely don’t want that many!!!! I’d be happy with a dozen or so.

2) I’m the youngest of 9 kids, but my wife is the oldest child of an oldest child. This means her mom is the same age as my oldest sister, and my mom is 3 years older than her grandma.

Well, since they brought it up, I first read The Hobbit at age 7, LotR at 13, and I’ve actually made it through The Simarillion multiple times. So yes, I’m that kind of masochistic nerd. 🤣

I’m lucky, my mom is as much a book junkie as I am. During the summer we would walk up to the library with my Radio Flyer wagon and come home with it loaded with books…which we would knock out in two weeks and then head back for more. 🤣

While his first paragraph is grade A hot garbage, the second is worth paying attention to. The whole reason that WCN/incel culture/MAGA/etc exist is because they give shitty men a place where their shitty behavior is acceptable, and even lauded.

Hey, gotta take advantage of the fact that English is the slut of the linguistic world. 🤣

Petrichor has always been a favorite of mine. Also autonomous, schadenfreude, l’esprit d’escalier (yes I know that’s a phrase, bite me), and antidisestablishmentarianism.
