PBS kids has its own app
PBS kids is on YouTube.
Though I did delete YouTube off the tablet because the YouTube kids app will not let me whitelist channels, and quickly autoplays to slop

It'll be hard to go to war when all the young men in the country suddenly develop bone spurs.
Prolly from marching in that shoddy parade.

Mormonism, like many churches, teaches how to act, not how to be.
Once the mask slips you see the ugly.

"always say yes"
When you say no what people want to try, it's easy to start railroading and discourage new ideas.
... That doesn't mean that dumb ideas shouldn't have (possibly comedic) consequences 🤣

I mean, if they manage to do it in 2 weeks, that's fine by me lol. If they didn't, at least they gave it a shot.
Much easier to teach someone that's willing to try, over confident or not.
And let's face it, most good devs have massive egos lol. Myself included, for better or worse.

I honestly thought I'd get more practical skills but as an EE they didnt even teach how to solder anything lol.
I often regret not going into trade schools. I'm good at math but also wanted to make stuff. The best learning I did was joining clubs to actually make things.

So, thinking back to engineering school...
We did a lot of busy work. Studying theories and doing the same formulas over and over, honesty it was boring.
Many of us cheated, took short cuts, or whatever.
Maybe education needs to get away from multiple choice questions and get more creative.

I love training younger programmers and getting the answer "well it's not been done before so I can't do it"
I'm sure AI will have better answers 🙄🤣

Well, idk.
Do we try to uproot the system and have the govt regulate and set prices
Or do we condemn those making profit until they "trickle down" those profits or just start charging less?
Something else?

For profit Healthcare means:
Ordering tests that are not needed, but are most profitable.
Changing medical codes to those that pay out more, for profit
Prescribing medications for companies that pay out more, for profit
Not finding cures or vaccines because treatment is more profitable

OK, so uh, where is the clear picture of what we're actually for?
I'm for Healthcare for all, paid parent leave, wage equality, etc...
But if I say that to a democrat we "lose the middle votes"...
And if I don't say it "we don't stand for anything"...
Sooo are we for anything or not???

She's absolutely right.
I have a dreadful fear of having the right to vote, earn money, owning property.
Prosperity and hope are nightmare fuel.
I dream of a day we are all chained to the conveyor belt we supervise, with the only break to have babies, which will work the belt next to us. 🙏
