Nightreign looks like it could be a lot of fun if it's just Monster Hunter Dark Souls. The reason why so many MH copycats flop is because the mechanics and loot just aren't great. Souls games already have both those sorted. With that being said, they need to make sure the network is stable.

The dislike toward Sunbreak is so strange to me. I struggle to put the game down, and I've played all the way to AR300 + Special Investigation III twice. I've never played an MH game twice - not even MH4U, which I'd play a million times over. Sunbreak is good.
