We saw Tom at Wheatland Music Festival several years ago. He was training with Rodney Crowell for his role in a Hank Williams movie. Rodney let Tom sing a few songs and he did very well. Later I read that TH hooked up with Taylor Swift. Happy birthday TH!

It takes a whole lotta Spotify to make a single spin on XM. Way to go, Billy!

I believe he played fiddle at most shows. He played twice in our little town in the 80’s. He would tell the bartender to “shut off that GD TV” !

Yesterday, I checked a review of a trade book I almost bought. The same paragraphs were repeated more than once. So, you’re not alone there. At least you found it before publication.

If Blaze never wrote one single song, his rich vocal delivery would pull the listener in. But he also wrote great songs.

And Pete is portrayed by the great Edward Norton in the upcoming Dylan movie.

That Animals album was one of a few records that introduced me to the blues. And of course, we did the song in my first three bands. Dave Van Ronk claims they stole his version of the trad folk song via Dylan, but it’s a classic anyway.

Great song and Billy Joel obviously loved this one as inspiration for his THE LONGEST TIME. But my fave doowop is still Come Go With Me by the Del Vikings.

Will the next album be acoustic or electric? Naked Truth is a good record and getting XM plays.

Always liked that song, but never realized that ARS was a spin-off off Classics V. Thanks for posting.
