So, it’s interesting that people comment that they don’t feel affected by it. But it does directly affect national parks, memorials, etc. which have to be temporarily shuttered until funding is back on. On top of food stamps, FAA attendants, etc.

This is exactly what I’ve been telling people about this around me. That homelessness can be fixed with programs like this to help people back to a stable life. But so many people are also reluctant to help the homeless despite it being a systemic issue.
