It is the opposite. The root of trans women's oppression stems from the fact that we are women. A man who is abused because he doesn't fulfill masculine stereotypes is transfeminized. Transfeminization can happen to anyone. A Short History of Trans Misogyny by Jules Gill-Peterson explored this.

No, trans women are not treated like men. That would be a significant increase in status. Trans women are subject to extreme misogyny because we are women.

It's surprising that some cycle-commuters aren't radicalized into anti-car, urbanist, &c advocacy. Drivers routinely risk other people's lives for a perceived few seconds inconvenience, or as in this case - thrills.

I might not even be here if it weren't for YouTube videos of trans girls' transition timelines. Now the fascists have constructed an environment where many are afraid to post (even pseudonymously), and the rest are censured.

Or worse: that trans people are undesirable - so participating in social murder is harmless or good.

I think this may reveal a prior of the writer: that transitioning is just frivolous and unnecessary.
Some people refuse to believe that transitioning is necessary or even beneficial. It's like a fad or a diet to them.

Also, Lia had massive disadvantages that Gaines did not have. If Gaines had put in the same effort that Lia did, she would have won. Gaines is upset that she wasn't as privileged as she usually is.

I'm feeling energized. A group of ppl in my area started a DSA chapter. I have hope for the future in spite of everything.
I'm worried that my healthcare will be banned and that MN won't be able to protect trans ppl from the feds.
I'd like to see direct action against fascists (Republicans).

Can you call them or their office on the phone? For us Americans that is far more effective than any other method other than in-person or bribes/lobbying. Faxes are given more import than email.

Every couple of months I learn some new evil of the Reagan administration. Janice Turner deserves to be a victim of what she has and wants to do to trans people.

what the heck orchies are cheaper. But I've ordered several months worth of spiro from overseas for less 300$ in the past. It was from a company called inhouse. The meds are legit confirmed by my endo

Oh you're on monotherapy? I'm not sure, but I don't think they can be directly compared because it depends on how your body processes them. You could add spironolactone too.

You can skip the liver by letting the pills dissolve under your tongue. That's probably the best way to do pills. I'd go with 4mg/day and get blood levels tested. That's what I used to do when I started HRT.

Injections are the best and it's relatively cheap. I don't think pills are as effective and I always feel shitty on them.

What inactions? Show up to what? Party loyalty isn't an ideology and you clearly need one.

Imagine betraying your own voters repeatedly for decades and then expecting them to believe that this time is different. The DNC made it clear that they would not change any policy. The voters condemned the genocide of Palestine and the DNC's response was condemning the voters.
comment in response to

Keep blaming the voters for candidate and party failures. It has never worked out before, and shows no signs of changing - but I am sure it'll work this time! DNC betrayal of the working class is why we're here. It is the politician's job to appeal to voters and meet their needs. Democracy 101

And what did the DNC do? Adopt the GOP's dehumanizing immigration policies and rhetoric. Blue voters stayed home because no one wants to vote for Republican-lite. Red voters voted for Trump, and the Harris campaign suppressed the blue vote.
comment in response to

The DNC is so bad that undocumented immigrants would put themselves and their families at risk of deportation.

It is not voter's fault that Kamala made stupid decisions. Blaming voters is incorrect and completely unhelpful. It is the candidate's job to motivate voters. She not only failed at that, she managed to suppress blue votes by promoting Liz Cheney, fracking, and refusing to condemn genocide.
comment in response to
post
No, if she had stuck to to her 2019 platform she'd have won. Blue voters stayed home because she pivoted to the center. Zero people want to vote for a republican-lite.
comment in response to

No. Kamala lost because she pivoted to the center. Stop trying to blame minorities

do you think a blueberry emoji is an Irish flag? zionists are truly braindead
comment in response to

Yes, my government (America) supports terrorists (zionists and others) and commits acts of terrorism itself.
comment in response to

If Irish people supported terrorism they'd support zionism.
From the river to the sea, one democratic state with equal rights, right of return, and Nuremberg trials for zionists.

Yeah, Irish were brutally oppressed by racist colonial murderers intent on their destruction. Palestinians know the same.
